Our Hillside School Site Council (SSC) works together with parents, students, teachers and community to guide instructional programs and determine funding sources for many special programs at Hillsdie School, including the instructional intervention program, counseling program, English Learner support program and many other opportunities for increasing achievement.

The Hillside SELAC meets at least four times a year to discuss and monitor programs specifically targeting instruction for the students at our school who are learning English. Parents, teachers, administration and community meet together to focus on specific funding available to provide for ways that will help our students achieve success.
